The Australian operations of CoreTalk were launched in the first quarter of 2005. CoreTalk Australia is the local distribution arm of Backbone Technologies, a telecommunications and technology development company, which has developed 2 products that it has taken to market.
The first product was PreChat, a distribution platform for the sale of prepaid mobile phone time, which is now in 7 countries around the world. This product is still being distributed. The second product is CoreTalk, an SMS and wireless communications tool for all businesses and verticals which is now in 4 countries and growing quickly.
CoreTalk Australia has Australian based management and technical support. Its local operations and support are based in George Street, in the Sydney CBD.
